Panchang & Vedic Astrology (“the App”) is published by Imagination Innovations LLC, a California limited liability company (“we”, “us”). It contains four tools — Panchang Calendar, Vedic Astrology, Vaastu Home Layout and a baby page (Baby Gender Chart, or Baby Naming in the version distributed in India). This policy covers the Android app and the web version at apps.imagination-innovations.com.

The short version: there is no account, no sign-in and no server of ours behind the App. Every calculation, every place lookup and every floor-plan scan runs on your device, and nothing you type, choose or photograph in the App is sent to us. The App sells nothing. Advertising involves Google (section 5 for the Android app, section 7 for the website), and the App links to our separate paid app, Innovations Astrology Studio (“IAS”) (section 6). The website is a lighter edition of the App; some tools are only in the Android app.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Account information: none. There is no registration, sign-in, password or profile.

Birth details and readings: dates, times and places of birth, charts and readings are calculated on your device and never sent to us or to the advertising provider.

Floor plans and photos: a plan you draw, and a photo of a plan you choose to scan, are read on your device. The photo is not uploaded or kept.

Pregnancy-related dates: dates entered on the baby page (due date, conception or birth dates, a mother’s date of birth for the look-back) stay on your device.

Payment details: none. The App sells nothing and has no purchase screen.

You can erase all of it by clearing the App’s storage in your device settings, or by uninstalling the App; on the web, clear the site data for apps.imagination-innovations.com. We hold no copy and cannot recover it.

3. Location, Compass and Camera

Places: city search, naming a place from coordinates and finding its time zone use place data from GeoNames bundled inside the App. Nothing you search for is sent anywhere. Place data © GeoNames (geonames.org), Creative Commons Attribution 4.0.

Your location is optional. If you allow it, the App uses it on your device to find the nearest place and time zone. If you decline, you can search for a city or type coordinates instead.

Compass: when you place rooms by pointing your phone, the App reads the phone’s orientation sensor on the device, and corrects magnetic to true north with a built-in model of the Earth’s magnetic field. On iPhone and iPad browsers you are asked first.

Plan scan: if you scan a floor plan, you choose a photo or take one; text recognition (tesseract.js) runs on your device using a model stored with the App. The image is not uploaded or saved.

4. Notifications

Reminders are optional and off until you turn a category on. Android then asks for permission to show notifications, and the App schedules them on your phone with its alarm service so they arrive at the minute named. No reminder data is sent to us.

5. Advertising (free Android app)

The free Android app shows a banner from Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may receive your device’s advertising ID, an approximate location derived from your IP address, device and operating-system details, and which ads you saw or tapped. This is collected by Google’s software, not from anything you enter: dates, places, charts, plans and baby-page entries are never passed to it.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the App asks for your choices through Google’s certified consent message before personalised ads are shown, and personalised advertising then rests on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you do not consent, the App works the same and may show non-personalised ads. You can change your answer at any time under ☰ → Ad privacy choices.

Everywhere, you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device settings (Settings › Privacy › Ads, or Google › Ads). Google’s use of this information is governed by policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. We receive only aggregate earnings reports from AdMob.

6. Links to Innovations Astrology Studio

The App shows cards promoting IAS, our separate app in which you can pay to ask questions. Tapping one opens IAS’s listing on Google Play (in the Android app) or its website (on the web). Nothing from the App — no chart, birth detail or setting — is passed to IAS; if you install it, IAS’s own privacy policy and terms apply.

7. Website

The website at apps.imagination-innovations.com is a lighter, free edition: tools marked ★ are only in the Android app, and it has no baby-sex prediction anywhere. It is served by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver the pages, and counts page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and records nothing you type. The website shows ads from Google AdSense; Google may set cookies and use your IP address to serve and measure ads, visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first, and you can opt out of personalised ads at adssettings.google.com. Nothing you enter on the website is passed to Google. The website offers no purchase.

8. When You Contact Us

If you email us — from the App’s feedback and bug-report links or directly — we receive your email address and whatever you write or attach, including an error log or a screenshot if you choose to include one. We use it only to answer you and to fix problems, and delete it within 3 years.

9. How We Use Information, and the Legal Bases

To show and measure ads in the free Android app — your consent where the law requires it, otherwise our legitimate interest in keeping the App free.

To answer email and fix reported problems — your request, and our legitimate interest in a working App.

We do not sell personal information, build profiles of you, send marketing email or use anything you enter to train models.

10. Who Receives Anything

Google (AdMob advertising and consent; Google Play distribution); Cloudflare (web hosting, cookieless analytics, and routing email sent to our address); Google (Gmail, where that email is stored). We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to a successor if the business is transferred.

11. How Long We Keep It

Information on your device: until you delete it, clear the App’s storage or uninstall. Email you send us: up to 3 years. Information held by Google or Cloudflare: under their own policies.

12. Children

The App is for adults and is not directed to children; it is not in Google Play’s Families programme. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has emailed us, write to us and we will delete the message.

13. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information we hold, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent at any time. Write to the address below; we reply within 30 days. Because the App keeps your data on your device, the only information we normally hold is email you sent us. You may also complain to your data protection authority.

California: we do not sell personal information. Personalised advertising in the free Android app may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising; you can opt out with the device settings in section 5, or by sending a Global Privacy Control signal where your device supports it.

India: you may exercise your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 by writing to us.

EEA, UK and Switzerland: Imagination Innovations LLC is the controller. Information we receive is processed in the United States under the safeguards our providers offer, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

14. Security

Your data stays on your device, so your device’s own lock screen, encryption and updates protect it. The web version is served only over HTTPS with HSTS. There is no database of ours to breach. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

15. Changes to This Policy

If what the App collects changes, we will update this page before the change reaches you and change the date above.
